Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead was a movie about some kids that are left at home for the summer with an elderly lady for a babysitter, while their mom goes on vacation. The babysitter dies, and the kids are left to fend for themselves for the summer.

Christina Applegate has had a very successful career. After Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Christina went on to appear in a long list of movies, including Wild Bill (1995), The Sweetest Thing (2002), and View from the Top (2003). She is probably best known for her appearance as Kelly Bundy on the tv show "Married... with Children" (1987-1997). She also did a musical in 2005 called "Sweet Charity". She is currently married to Johnathon Schaech.

She has also made guest appearances on several tv shows, including "Roseanne" (1992-1993), "ER" (1997), "The West Wing" (2002), and "Cold Case" (2005).

Christopher Pettiet as Zach Crandell

After Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Christopher Pettiet went on to appear in movies such as Sandman (1992), The Goodbye Bird (1993), and Against the Law (1997). He also made guest appearances on tv shows including "Touched by an Angel" (1997), "Chicago Hope" (1998), "Judging Amy" (1999), and "Undressed" (1999). Sadly, Christopher passed away on April 12, 2000 at the age of 24 from an accidental drug overdose.
